Particularly useful if your running an unlicensed copy of XP Pro and saves you having to download the updates etc
Newbie Proof
INSTRUCTIONS
Insert a blank floppy disc into your PC and then 'double click' on the FloppyImage0.exe to extract and write to the disc.
Now RESTART your PC and enter your BIOS settings and select BOOT from Floppy
Once restarted, in the 1st screen say YES to 'Marking' your HDD's
Now in the 2nd screen do the following:
OPTIONS - under SPANNING tab - select SPANNING + AUTONAME + CREATE CRC32 then SAVE
Going back to the 2nd screen now select LOCAL DISK
Choose TO IMAGE then select your HDD (if you have more than 1)
Then select your DESTINATION eg
CD/DVDR or HDD .... give it a name
This will now begin to archive your C:\
Once finished to verify that the archive is correct - Go back to the 2nd Screen
and select CHECK - LOCATION and it will check it for you.
TO REINSTALL YOUR BACKUP, use the installation floppy or if you have backed up to CD/DVDR this will automatically include the software for you to do so.
